How did you become persona non grata and how do you know that you are?
Nothing as exciting as it might sound. It's totally us being 100% resale and having gone through one presentation (2015) before buying resale and 3-4 since then, it appears that I am coded somehow on the greeters list with some type of do not offer code. While I was at the Concierge desk at Ocean Enclave last Fall, he signed us up for a presentation that offered some 6 figure HH points. He had to call me later and explain that the Sales Office decided we weren't eligible. I did want to find out what type of equity I might be able to leverage from the Original Purchasers price, so I accepted an offer for 20,000 points for an hours time. None of the deeds they offered made any sense to me and the rep got us out of there under the 60 minutes. About half the time I am traveling without my wife, so that kills any potential offer. I really don't need the aggravation and am quite sure that I would never but retail, so save everyone some grief and enjoy vacation.
My wife and I have both been in sales and generally I have a better idea how HGVC works than the reps do. The last rep we had was trying to push the no reservation fee in Max and when I told him I get that through my bHC deed, he looked at me like I was just making that up. The classic presentation was the rep in Orlando who kept telling us about the luxury homes she was getting in Europe and other places. Not really the way we travel, but she seemed to think it was her path to getting us to buy. She eventually walked out and sent the closer in. Totally tone deaf on her part. Their sales model is not aligned with my understanding of math.
