Any recommendations for what section of the resort may be best? Any newer or recently updated areas to request?

Mountain Villas is the newest section of the resort and has lock-off units and 3br units. The pool area is very nice. It is the farthest distance from the freeway that runs past the resort. Some people don’t like the distance to the lobby or the small shopping area near the lobby, but we enjoyed it. The pool is very nice and they have a adjoining kids splash area.

Villas on the Green is the next newest and offers lock-off units. The buildings are 3 stories high. I believe they were remodeled a few years ago. We have never stayed in them. They have a nice pool and kids pool/splash area there too.

The original sections are Lawrence Welk Resort Villas. They are non-lock-off 2BR units and are large. As others have mentioned, if you can get a unit that is farther away from the freeway within this section, there is less white noise from the traffic.

The property is very nice and has a par 65 Executive course and a par 3 Executive course, as well as tennis courts.

Enjoy your stay.

You likely know this, but stay away from the sales team here. They are brutal.

I just visited my sister at the original LW villas. Largest kitchen I have ever seen at a timeshare. It was very nice and overall very spacious.
