Lawai Beach Resort booking question

We're considering a resale purchase at Lawai Beach Resort and had a couple questions for current owners regarding making a reservation. From what we've read, owners can book up to 24 months out and must provide their 3 preferred check-in dates when making a reservation. Things we haven't been able to figure out:

1. If you are interested in booking a specific unit number (top floor, first floor, etc.), does LBR provide owners with a current view of available units by week? I see that you can list a preferred unit on your request but that seems difficult if you can't figure out what is open.
2. In general, do owners find it difficult to secure their preferred week? Or are their enough units reserved for RCI/II trades that owners can generally find availability?

I always book at the earliest moment--which means sending in my request at 3:00 a.m. my time the first day of the month I want two years out. I request either of my two favorite units for one week over a two week period and have only not gotten one of my desired units once in 7 times. I've never waited to request later, so don't know if you can find out what's still available. If they don't have the unit you want, they assign you another unit.

I also reserve at 24 months at the 1st of the month.
I only put in the one specific week I need since I go back to back with Point at Poipu over Thanksgiving.
I've always gotten my room choice. I'm in the Coral bldg so being early to get a top floor is important.

Once they confirm your week you get the room assignment right away (no waiting until check-in) so if you are unhappy you likely could communicate with reservations.

The week after Thanksgiving that I get would be considered non-peak. Nov-Dec other than the holiday weeks are lower season.
Haven't tried for summer, I imagine it would be important to book as early as possible.

Funny Farm is correct. For years we owned and used Coral Building. The top floor is the best, but there are limited 2 bedrooms, and 1 bedroom view rooms are tough to obtain especially in peak winter months.
