Unfortunately, as long as people keep sending these scammers money they will never go away. In the BBB alert, one person lost $235,000 and another $140,000, sent to a stranger who cold called them. Now that the alert is out on this scam company there will be another new website/company that pops up to replace it.

In the thread below about another scam company name (the company names are not important, only the red flags), I mention that the scammer websites were registered in Iceland, just like the scam company in the BBB alert. These are likely the same scammer making up new websites to replace those other scam websites that have run their course (too many complaints).

One more important thing to add. The scammers are no longer targeting just owners of timeshares located in Mexico (with bogus Mexican fees because the property is in Mexico). It has been previously reported that a Wyndham owner and HGVC owner have been targeted by this same exact scam as well. Because the property isn’t in Mexico the scammers modify their lies by claiming that the buyer is in Mexico. This allows them to use their bogus Mexican fee requirements all the same.

Here is the latest consumer warning about a timeshare resale company that is targeting consumers who own timeshares in Mexico. For the veterans of this board, this is nothing new.

Thanks for sharing this information.
