Today's Dells Events reports that Mrs. Stanton, age 101, has decided to close her motel in the Dells, which she has run for 58 years. It is two blocks off of broadway. When it opened she charged $20 a night, but the article says she only charges $33.50 a night now. She says she isn't looking to get rich, just pay her debts. So this is the last year she will run the hotel which has 15 rooms. A pipe burst during the winter, so some rooms are closed off this year.
