i'm beginning the task of purchasing a 2 bedroom TS, near heavenly, with easy access to the casinos/nightlife and not having to drive a lot once in the area. suggestions?

the marriott timber lodge is the top dog in south shore - gorgeous but expensive. tahoe has lots of timeshares to choose from - there are 14 listed for stateline in the tug review pages, most for far less, if you aren't on a marriott budget. to be near the casinos you want to be in south shore/stateline. the heavenly gondola is right in the casino area. look at the tug nevada review pages for an idea of what is available. we bought our mid-level timeshare in south shore for $255 on ebay.

good start...

marriott dreams, but not marriott wallet. i looked through the tug reviews and on ebay previously. what i'm not sure about is am i looking for stateline or just nevada. i skied at heavenly 6 years ago and really enjoyed it- that was before i got into timesharing. tug and it's contributors are such a HUGE help.
