Lagunamar- can I book by view type?

When looking at Lagunamar availability I only see the number of bedrooms, but the system does not indicate the view type. Is ocean view or oceanfront normally displayed if such a view is available? If not, how do I request a view after making the reservation?

Are you booking StarOptions or Abound Club Points? When booking StarOptions, if Oceanside is available, it will show up. If it doesn't, then it isn't available. I know of no way to do something similar with Club Points.

I would be booking using HomeOptions through Vistana. If Oceanside is not shown, what is the view that I would have?

This is what it will look like when you can see Oceanside for booking.

If you just book the one without a view designation, it would be any of the units that are not on the end cap of buildings 1, 9 or 14. Most of these have excellent water views, some lower floors have no real view of the ocean and there are a few terrible units in 3 and 13. Booking with StarOptions would mean you have a good chance of getting a good view if you place a request.

I know of no way to do something similar with Club Points

I thought the different views do show up using Club Points when available. Most of the time it's only Oceanview. Here's a screen shot as an example.
