La Veranda breakfast at Royal Sands

We haven't been back to Cancun for four years now and our favorite meal was the breakfast buffet at the La Veranda restaurant at the Royal Sands. Can anyone tell me what the cost for the buffet is now? I can't even remember what it was four years ago but I'm sure it has gone up since then.

Heading to Cancun for one week on Saturday and then another week at the Royal Haciendas after that. Can't wait to get out of Minnesota for a while. It was 13 below this morning.

I can't answer for La Veranda, but just a couple weeks ago I asked the same question about La Palapa @ Royal Haciendas. Nobody knew, so I called RH - price is 196 pesos per adult ($14 @ 14 pesos per dollar) and 98 pesos for children ($7). I'd be surprised if La Veranda was much different.

Note also that with the dollar strengthening, cost is now closer to $13. Now if we can only get to 20 pesos / dollar, eating at the Royal restaurants might look a little more affordable... :)
