looking at going to Los Cabos in Spring. We like to mostly do our own cooking and also go out a few times. How hard is it to get to "town" where we can buy groceries? We don't mind taking the bus if there is one. We are in Mexico now and have got used to the Mexican buses. I know there is Uber but would like a bus option if there is one.

You will need Uber because the market is not within walking distance. There is a Chedraui and another market (cannot remember the name) at the entrance of San Jose Del Cabo.

There are buses but that goes beyond my wheelhouse. Enjoy La Pacifia - it is a beautiful resort.

The other grocery is La Comer. They are still working on the roundabout there, so it’s worth avoiding if you’re driving - either go along the coastal route at the split right after The District before the circle or just go to Fresko along the highway near Cerro Colorado.

Also, consider using Didi rather than Uber. I understand it’s less expensive, but have been renting cars there lately.
