Well I hate that. I mean glad the water park is next to Aulani and the property next to the MVC is a luxury hotel (Waldorf. Mandarin, etc.).

The two things I'd be interested in are new restaurant options, and if there are day passes to the water park (unlikely). Traffic on Aliinui Dr should be interesting though.

Wow, we just were at KoOlina, and the best part is that is was so uncrowded. This will really add a lot of people to the mix. Ugg. Yes, I do think it will be good to have more restaurants….that was my husband’s biggest complaint. So that is great. And it will be nice to have the empty lots not just bare. But it will change the feel quite a bit with so many more people. And the construction with be a bummer until they are completed, but I’m sure the properties will be beautiful and it will be hard to remember what it was like before. But then I DO remember when it was just the JW Marriott and nothing else…it was a little slice of Heaven! 🥰I’m so glad we were able to go now before the construction begins.

I'll beleive it when I see it. As noted in the article, this was talked about almost 10 years ago and the land is still vacant. It seem the seller took a big hit selling the land for about half of what they paid, ouch!

Yeah that too. Until ground is broken it's just a proposal.

Like wasn't there a proposal once for a 4th tower at MVC KO?

I wouldn't worry for at least a few years. Just like I said when oceanwide claimed they were building Atlantis.

IF Atlantis gets built by 2030, I would be surprised.

Totally agree. It will face a lot of obstacles before it comes to fruition. The traffic will be a nightmare.
