We are owners at KoOlina, and the parking rate (self-parking) should be free.

We will have guests accompany us - they may wish to rent a car - they are wondering if they will have to pay for car parking. Note - the guest family members are not Marriott VCI owners.

I think Ko'Olina allows one car per unit. If your friends are staying with a Marriott owner they wouldn't be charged, unless they enforce the one car per unit rule.

I'd call and ask them if they charge for a second car. If you have a 2 bedroom you should be able to park 2 cars. Post back here and tell us what you find out. I'd be curious if they'll allow a Marriott owner more than one car.

Back in 2006 we got an extra parking permit for my husbands aunt who lived on the island so they could come visit us. They ended up charging us $7 per day for the 2nd permit.

We stayed there this summer in our 3 bedroom unit. You are allowed 2 cars with a 3 bedroom unit. I think you are only allowed parking for 1 car with a 2 bedroom unit.

Stayed at Ko olina back in Nov09 in a 2b bedroom. We had to pay for the second parking permit for our friends. Sorry I can't remember the cost per day.

We were in Ko Olina June 09 (on an exhange) in a 2 bdrm and we were not charged for extra parking pass. Looks like YMMV.
