Kingsland 1 BR points clarification

I am looking at 1 BR Kingsland options--one is 7200 points for MF of $1877 and the other 5440 points for $1500. Can someone tell me if gold vs platinum weeks? Maybe why difference in MFs.

See Post 72 in this MF Thread. Platinum & Gold do not make a difference at Kings Land. It is based on different Phases and Small vs Large layout + I believe the points are also driven by what Floor the same room type/size is on. I have a 1 BR Premier there that has 20,160 and paid $1869 in 2025.

BTW I don't see any 7200 point deeds at Kings Land. That might be an old 1BR value before they adjusted up 60% when Diamond was aquired a few years ago. 7200 x 1.6 = 11,520.

You can see that there are quite a number of different types of 1BR, with several different point values. This gives some details to support @BingoBangoBongo's comments above about phases, floors and room sizes.

Not sure I agree with this, platinum deeds always assign more points than gold for the same maintenance fee. King's Land is no different in this regard.

It does have different phases with different point values and square footage of the units / buildings. Some are mixed in the same building, phase 3.

I own platinum phase 1 but typically stay during gold season phase 2 to maximize my point value with longer stays. Then if you get lucky HGVC will have a point discount promotion.

The “no difference” response regarded the OPs question whether Platinum or Gold would account for the difference in MF’s he was seeing, which they don’t.
