Booked a week in October here. Was wondering if anyone has been here and how would you describe the facility. Have been looking to switch to nicer place but nothing has come up in Hawaii yet. Thanks. New to this so need help.

You could join TUG and get access to all the reviews. Well worth the small fee.

I agree with Sherry. If one is doing much exchanging, the reviews included with your TUG membership are well worth the $10/yr membership fee. I can say that the headline of one review was 'Pleasantly Surprised'.

We really like this area of Maui. It's walking distance to a small shopping center and Maui Brewing Co. There is a small park and swimming beach nearby, I can't speak to October, we swam there with turtles last January.

I never stayed there but we were close by and saw it. I would have no problems
With staying there.

We have stayed there and are still owners of record, but we just sold our week.

Units are very clean. Bathrooms are identical and grout looks new. The bathrooms are very white. Appliances in the kitchen are nice. Cabinets are older but clean. Carpet is new and pretty, and so are the upholstered pieces in the living and dining room. Beds are comfortable. The small AC unit doesn't cool the unit as well as I would like, but I have a problem with humidity, being from Colorado and a dry climate. Consolidated/ Soleil is good at taking care of things.

The buildings are tall and there is an elevator. 2 bedrooms are the top four floors, so each 2 bedroom is two stories, so stairs on the interior of the units to the bedrooms and bathrooms.

I liked staying there. I would take an exchange in a heartbeat.

By the way, the resort reviews on TUG are not very good for Kahana Villas. Most are older reviews, and there are very few. So write a review after your stay. You will like it, I think. And bonus! Views of the ocean are pretty good from those units because they are on the top floors, and the building towers over the houses in front.

Thanks for your input. BTW, I am a member of TUG just new to finding answers on here.

Very Good!. You would have gotten an email shortly after sending the money to join, with a code to put in your profile to change the line under your username from Guest to Member. That would also give you access to the Reviews.

Belated Welcome.
