Here is a summary of our observations:
The pool area and Bldgs. A-F looked well maintained, and the grounds around them looked good too. (We didn't go inside.) However, not only did the exterior of Bldgs. G & H look bad, but the grounds around them and the beach in front of them look neglected, as well:
- G & H have obvious damage/deterioriation on their lanais and the exterior metal looks rusty. The paint on the walls is in bad shape.
- G & H are wrapped in green fencing and there are "Do Not Enter" signs at each entrance, despite the fact that we could see full time owners using their units.
- The grass in front of Bldg. G doesn't look like it is being watered, and the shrubs between the grass and the beach have been cut down to the ground and look dark brown and dead.
- The Bar-B-Que between Bldg. G & H has been removed.
- The canal that drains into the ocean next to Bldg. F, is backed up and stagnant, because the canal isn't being kept clean and flowing by removing the sand build up.
- The beach is covered with debris including large piles of net, and it is obvious that no one is cleaning it any longer.
- The hotel next door looks nice, and has a fresh coat of green paint.
There is a real obvious contrast between Bldgs. G & H and the rest of the resort.
Building G:
Building H - Some of you may remember John, the full-time owner from Colorado - this is one of his lanais. The unit looks empty.
Building F: this ocean front building is the only one open.

Building H:
One big change is that the land on both sides of the driveway has been mowed, and there are a few cattle grazing there. The canal on the other side of the resort (next to the road that goes back to the public beach bathroom) has been cleaned up too, and it is no longer overgrown with trees and bushes. I don't hate it:
