We are completing a stay at Eagle’s Nest. We love this place and the weather has been fantastic. I am sniffing around resales here now. I made the drive to the Revs Institute museum in Naples today. If you love automotive history (with an emphasis on racing) I can’t say enough about this place. Truly spectacular collection and all the cars run except for a few.
 
how difficult was it to get a reservation?

Nice. We have a large group going with us to The Charter Club in less than a month. I am certainly looking forward to checking out Marco Island. I expect that we will have hotter weather but hopefully tolerable.

It will be warm but we like it that way. The gulf is so warm you just wade right in. We never went in the pool once. I’ve stayed at Charter and it’s nice also. Charter has the recreational equipment at your disposal as well.
 
We'll be at Eagle's Nest for a week in June...
It follows a 10N cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale.
We may take old Tamiami Trail (U.S. 41) across the Glades.

there is not a single 3 night reservable block at any time in the next nine months for any size unit.

Where is the Revs institute. I never heard of it before. We are always looking for places to go

We will be at Crystal Shores in 3 weeks and hopefully can visit the the museum in Naples..thanks for the heads up.
 
Weeks do become available. Just the last month I got two, one at Eagles Nest in August and one beachfront at Club Regency in December. I also saw a few others but the dates did not work for me. The key is to go on everyday to check.

Whereas buying a week at Eagles Nest can work if you buy a fixed week and use it each year, the flex weeks give you no guarantee you will get what you want. I owned there and the weeks I wanted were always in a lottery for flex. I find owning a high point week elsewhere and trading in has worked better for me and is more cost effective.

We were just in Marco --- 2 weeks ago at our timeshare Sunrise Bay Resort and the weather was incredible we then moved to our timeshare in Naples on Vanderbilt Beach --- my all time favorite TS that I own. I had to work remotely the whole two weeks, so we did not get to do much but enjoyed swimming and going out to eat

We went to Revs today. It was great. Everybody really enjoyed Revs Institute
