 Just finished a wild and busy week at Daytona Beach Ocean Walk. Tons of kids and lots of people on the beach every day. Hard to get good seats by the pool and I've never seen the beach so crowded. Now, we've just checked into this small quiet spot and are looking forward to a wonderful week on the gulf. The resort now has wireless Internet so we can have fun checking our email and talking to others on TUG. Though this resort is rated only a silver crown by RCI, the location is great (on the beach). Not many resort activities but the beach is loaded with shells compared to Daytona. Any one else in the area?

Cameron Cove Is On Our List.

We're not in the area, sorry to say -- are not even on vacation but just hanging around home (not that there's anything wrong with that). However, Cameron Cove is on our list of timeshare's we'd love to exchange into some time, if it ever works out.

Be sure to write up a TUG review of your Cameron Cove week after you get back.

I'll be sure to put a review in after our stay. We were here a number of years ago and are finding that things are about the same. Low key and laid back. New beds have been recently installed and the beach has been refurbished according to a newsletter that was provided in our welcome package. I'm off to Walgreens to get a dip net to snatch shells out of the surf line. Looks we'll have a great week for shelling. :)

I see it available a lot in my daily Resorts on the Beach searches.

We're in unit 106 which is ocean view (first tier back) on the north side of the building. The south side obviously gets more sun so in the summer it would be nicer to be on this north side. We sit right above the large hot tub and tiki hut on the ground level. So far the activity below us has not been a problem. The beach was beautiful today and the surf just wonderful. We are totally enjoying our stay so far! :)
