We will be staying at Kauai Lagoons and spending the afternoon at the Kauai Back Country Adventures mountain tubing, looks SO cool!

My 16 year old wants to know where's the best place that night to see some holiday fireworks?

Thanks!

I tried Googling and couldn't find much. You might want to ask at the place you're staying. They should know what's going on in the area.

We stayed at Kauai Beach Club several years back during fourth of July. The fireworks were nearby in a field. If my memory is correct, Marriott had a shuttle to the field. There were food concessions and they played Hawaiian music during the fireworks. It was a nice way to be part of a Hawaiian Fourth of July celebration. There may have been a small charge for admission.

that sounds awesome! I will call the resort to inquire for sure :)

The only problem with the fireworks venue is that it is on a 2 lane road, with limited access, so getting out after the fireworks can take FOREVER.

We prefer to park on a hill nearby, so we can get out quickly. If you drive by the location the day before, you can figure out a spot.

If it is a hot day, the venue is really hot with no shade - so that is another consideration, if you are thinking about going early in the day.

I would bet that you can see the fireworks from Kauai Lagoons - it is nearby. I'd avoid the heat, and the crowds, barbecue at resort, enjoy the pools, and make a day of it.
