I got an amazing deal on a Hotel Jordan Quartershare (Quarter 2 studio) and is currently being transferred over to me, and I am wondering if anyone has had experience with the Jordan Hotel at Sunday River Maine.
Any experience with space available?
My wife and I are also looking to join RCI or Boyne/Interval to trade in weeks to go to South Carolina coast. Does anyone have experience with trading in weeks from a quartershare?

Any help or advice on this purchase would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I don't have any experience with owning there...but I've stayed there two separate times, once in summer and once in fall. It is a favorite spot for my family....we only live a couple of hours away.

As I understand it, the quartershare trading works pretty much like any other weeks trading. You bank the weeks you don't intend to use with the timeshare company, and then exchange.

Studios there are pretty small....even if they say "sleeps 4" I wouldn't have more than 2 people in them.

Hope you'll have many happy years of timesharing!

Thank you. We live three hours away from there in NH and looks like it will be a nice getaway for my wife and I. We are looking forward to it. The weeks that are deposited, (lets say 3rd week in May) I would find a week (3rd week in may) to stay somewhere else?

I know the RCI system....but Interval has a similar way of doing things. If you deposited your week, then you'd be able to look for any other week in the system that was equal to or less than your "trading power." RCI assigns Trading Power Units to the weeks...Interval is not as transparent. I know that there is a fee to "trade up" for unit size in Interval...others will be able to speak more to that system. If it's just the two of you traveling, trading up won't be as big of an issue.

Bethel is an interesting little town, and you're not all that far from the coast, either. Great spot!

You will have to get up to speed on how to do exchanges with RCI or II, depending on which you use. It is both art and science and will require advanced planning and a of of perseverance and organization.
