Joni Mitchell leaves everyone in tears

I saw this awhile ago. Yes, I was in tears.
 
My wife and I saw Joni75, which was a one night event in theaters a few years ago. My musical tastes are extremely broad, and it was really nice to see her life and music celebrated during a very entertaining evening. She’s a little before my time, but I remember seeing her in The Last Waltz and hearing some of her music through the years.

*Just one correction to the OP, it was at the Newport Folk Festival.

I didn't even know there was a Newport Folk Festival until I watched the video;)
 
The singer in this video in the flowered shirt is Brandi Carlile - she has featured Joni in some of her concerts this year and last. I believe the 80's singer you are thinking of is Belinda Carlisle, from the girl group The Go-Go's.

LOL. I picked up on the Newport Jazz Festival reference, but completely missed the 80's pop star. Brandi was born in 1981 and Belinda was born in 1958 (which really surprised me).
 
I had every album and wore them all out.

Her voice has gotten deeper in old age.
