Yes, which is why ongoing searches won't work with RCI. Give it another 12-15 years, and Disney will switch back to RCI again.I thought DVC switched to II from RCI.
The last of DVC’s inventory in RCI is likely gone and all future inventory now goes to II.Last one I got was in 23 for kidanni. In the early 20's the SSR's were always available, and OKW.
Now I've had OGS for months with no hits.
I believe it was a 10-year agreement. I think that was the length of the agreement they had with RCI.anyone know how long DVC contract with II is for?
Nope. As DVC owners, we are happy to see that DVC went to II, and I wish they would stay with II forever. DVC members will enjoy Marriott resorts in exchange.anyone know how long DVC contract with II is for?
The term of the Interval International, Inc. (“II”) agreement begins January 1, 2022
and extends through December 31, 2026, unless sooner terminated in accordance
with its provisions. Neither DVD, DVCM, DVCHMC, nor II is obligated to renew the
agreement when it expires, and DVD, DVCM, and DVCHMC make no commitment to
renew or extend the agreement.
We also own DVC. I was flabbergasted when I got a confirmed search for a kidanni village savannah view ($1200)/night for 105k wyndham points.Nope. As DVC owners, we are happy to see that DVC went to II, and I wish they would stay with II forever. DVC members will enjoy Marriott resorts in exchange.
I like the trading power I have with my weeks to get DVC. I don't like the games RCI played with the number of TPU's required for a week at Disney. Started out to be an easy trade, then suddenly it required two Colorado summer weeks to get one 1 bedroom unit at Disney.
I did find that using RCI points to my advantage for Disney worked extremely well.
