Vacation VIP (you can find it on Facebook) constantly runs deals to Vidanta (any location) ranging from $399/week for Mayan Palace master suite with any upgrade you want available, no blackout weeks. Sometimes they also offer a travel voucher of $200 towards flights if you are traveling soon, so always ask about that. I’ve done the Grand Mayan one bedroom for $600, Grand Bliss master for $700, and am trying the Grand Luxxe master for $800 next time. These are all cheaper than owners’ usage fee rates. You do not have to do a presentation to get the deal.
