No. These are an affiliates. You can only trade in HGVC deeds. Perhaps they could make an exception / deal where you keep your Scotland and add but it would be very expensive. I would also demand this is writing in the contract because I have had sales people try to show me this but would not commit it to the contract. No deal.

But why would you do that? Premier Elite is better than Max. And you can trade your Craig Scotland in DEX to get access to DRI/Embarc. You can also trade Craig in II to get MVC/Vistana and Disney which are better quality than many DRI/HVC - albeit not as stong a trader as owning an MVC trader.

There have been several people who have bought resale in NYC and the District and put in Max. I know two different owners who have lost elite premier and put at member level in Max.... They are not happy and HGV can't fix it .. Well, CS can briefly fix it but then at midnight, it reverts back to Max

No...though I share @GT75's wondering why. You can get free HGVC reservations by buying into a bHC resort (and then paying AI dues) and if HVC/ex-Diamond resorts are what you are interested in you can get HVC trust points for more or less free and then book HVC resorts at 12/13 months instead of 6.

But if someone is already Elite Premier, they are getting free reservations, free saved pts, free GC and free HH conversions plus others. I see moving to anything Max as a downgrade.
