Is this a good option for adding points?

This guy (company?) on ebay is selling RCI points for about a penny a point, which is obviously better than RCI's two cents a point. I have a pretty small TS (33,000 every other year), so on odd years when we don't get points, I'd like to be able to add points for traveling, if we want to go somewhere. So basically you'd pay around $300 for 30,000 points, which covers most of the resorts we'd stay at in FL (near my in-laws). Not too bad of a deal. I guess.

His feedback score is good and it looks like he has done over one thousand Ebay transactions. I don't use RCI points, but you make it sound like a good deal.

I would be very comfortable buying from this person

100% feedback and a lot of it.

I read one of the listings. The one I read said that the Points were from 2010and that they are only good through your use year in 2012. You'll have to determine when your use year ends. They indicated that these Points could not be extended. Just make sure that you will be able to use these Points prior to the end of your use year. I've seen some go cheaper than a penny a point on eBay before; still not a bad price for these.

Dumb question #32 this week. My RCI account says Jan 31, 2012 and Dec 31, 2012. So I assume my use year ends December 31st, so these points would expire then?

Bump...can anyone tell me what those two dates are for my use year?

Unused points automatically carry over one year past their 'use' year, and you can 'borrow' from the upcoming year as long as the MF is paid- and your RCI membership is current, so you can effectively use 3 years' worth of RCI points if you need to for a 'big'- or expensive vaca.

In other words, those 2012 points become worthless Jan 31, 2014. By your dates. Kopish?
