Can't find it in the HGVC website any more. Was it ever there?

It used to be there, but just the Residences are there now. It was there earlier in the week or late last week, because I was looking at NYC availability.

I also tried to check it a 2 weeks back as well, and it was not there.

I thought that only owners at the Hilton Club of NY could book there. But I have heard that you can also book via RCI.

So they are unlike any other hgvc property or Hilton club?

Correct. As a HGVC Legacy owner, I don't ever remember seeing Hilton Club NY as an available location for me to book. I was also under the impression that direct booking was only available to owners of the property.

Then it is actually weird. Can Hilton Club NYC owner book out? If so, how does the point balance out?

Yes, Hilton Club NYC owners can book out to the other HGV resorts. They get points just like the other legacy HGVC owners.

Long time owner at HCNY and when I signed into the site I can of course see the property and in fact checked yesterday to see if I could book anything around Xmas. Indeed I could but I would add that even for owners it was very tight with limited availability during this very popular time in NYC. Yes owners can book out to other HGV resorts with the same limitations as non owners, again I checked this yesterday. For example multiple other NYC properties populated my search page but not being an owner I could not book in Dec now.

I'm an Owner of TR from before it opened - The Hilton Club has not been on the HGVC site from 2016-forward.

Filed under things that do not make sense. Why do I have to scroll through Las Vegas, Hawaii, and Florida availability to get to the W 57th when I am selecting NYC as my destination? I get the *HGV/MyExplorer+ properties -b ut the W 57th is BELOW all of the other cities.

I have the same issue and haven’t figured out a way to disable it. Only workaround for now is it doesn’t happen on my iPad.

I just did this right now on the website, and did not have this issue. It starts at Central and lists only the NYC properties. Using Firefox, FWIW.

Cheers.

Are you HGVC Max (or 'shadow' Max because of a recent resale purchase)? I think seeing the other resorts has something to do with the HGV MyExplorer+ 'enhancement' HGV is pushing.

Nope. We're HGVC Cardboard, so I miss out on yet another MAX "enhancement."

Cheers.

“It’s a feature, not a bug”

“Your words, not mine”

In a world where things that make sense and I owned at W57 - which I did - scrolling to the bottom, past Las Vegas, Orlando, and a couple of islands would be counterproductive to my goals, “keeping things simple”.

Funny! I cut my cable this past month. I ordered a fiber-optic service with no TV (local channels). I was quoted a higher price when I was in my home using Safari. When I got to work the price was $31 dollars less - Microsoft Edge. LSS, the new ISP matched the lower price.

CC bonuses are all over the place depending on which web browser you’re using.

I will try Firefox, thanks for the input.

Also try clearing site-specific cookies. This can matter with things like airfare. We still have cable, but not TV. Each time our current contract ends and they try to change the price, I always talk them into a lower rate for same, or slightly reduced, rate, Then the rate comes back up anyway. And they always provide more than they promise.

Cheers.
