Is Casa Dorada Medano Beach same as Casa Dorada Resort and Spa

I am trying to search reviews of Casa Dorada Medano Beach on Tripadvisor but CD Resort and Spa keeps coming out. Are they the same? I am offered an exchange to the resort next year. I am trying to get some reviews of the resort but can't find any. Any tuggers have the latest? Thank you!
 
No. Medrano Beach is on Medano beach behind Mango Deck. The other is up the corridor on the site of the Hilton hotel.

Medano beach is fun but it’s a total party atmosphere due to the location. The other is much more tranquil.

That's funny because we just stayed at the Casa Dorado side of the Hilton closer to San Jose de Cabo and it was fantastic albeit older...the funny part was we also had deal the Casa Dorado in Cabo close to Medano beach...it was completely refreshed but looked over Kaboo nightclub so make a wise choice...and have fun...prices have gone nuts in Cabo area but there are lots of expats at the Gardenia taco spot...close to the Mall.

I’ve stayed at the HGV units at the Hilton and we spoke to some Casa Dorada guests. They mentioned their units were older. The HGV units are brand new and really nice.
 
There are at least 4 Casa Dorados in Cabo. 2 out on the corridor which one of those in mandatory AI.

The other 2 are on Medano Beach. The nicest being the Casa Dorado Medano MBE I think. Most of the time this resort has Friday check ins. The other is Casa Dorado Cabo San Lucus or Los Cabo. CBO I think. It is also a Melia. If you want to read reviews on that resort look up Melia. It’s very nice as someone mentioned it has been remodeled. Most of the units are studios. There are both optional AI and mandatory AI so read the exchange carefully. This resort has private butlers which is fun. Also last Nov. a 60.00 per week resort fee. We had a week there in November we got for overflow when we had family in Cabo for Thanksgiving. We got it with an AC really cheap, but no one stayed there not even 1 nite. We let some acquaintances use it for 2 nites.
