Is anyone familiar with the Clearwater area?

We want to take the kids to a camp at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Are there any timeshares in the area that are an easy drive to the CMA? I would like to minimize traffic as I understand that it can be quite bad over there. It doesn't have to be right on the beach, just clean, safe and with a pool.

There aren't very many timeshares in the Clearwater area. What few there are, are very difficult to exchange into.

I don't know exactly where the CMA is located, but there is only one timeshare facility in Clearwater itself.

However, there are more than a dozen or so timeshare facilities in the nearby towns of Indian Shores, Indian Rocks Beach, Treasure Island, etc. Bay & Beach Club in Indian Shores, to cite just one example, has buildings on both sides of Gulf Blvd and all units are 2BR. The place is older and the pool is small, but it's decent and I'm betting that it would be easy enough to rent there and / or "exchange" into the place.

Beso Del Sol

According to Map Quest this resort 6 miles from the Aquarium and has a driving time of 12 minutes. You could make a request with DAE. It worked for me. Check out reviews on tripadvisor or TUG. It may or may not work for you.
