I am used to paying online with Paypal or online bill pay through my bank. Has anyone used Intuit PaymentNetworks? I just received the 1st invoice from a new service company. All they take is Intuit PaymentNetworks which requires signing up and providing my checking account info to Intuit. Anyone use Intuit for this? Is it safe?

I have never used this particular system however, INTUIT is a large, fairly well-known financial company (Turbo Tax, Quicken Books) so it would only be natural to have an integrated payment system. Since PayPal has a large chunk of the business, it would be natural that other competing systems would arise. I have used, for example, Google Payments. I think you are about as safe with them as anyone else - it sounds like the company you are doing business with may be using one of INTUIT's software programs to do their accounting.

I went to create an account, only to find out that I already had one with my email address thanks to Turbo Tax. I didn't make the Turbo Tax connection to Intuit at first. Now I realize that nothing personal about me is kept private from Intuit. With Turbo Tax, they already know more about me than I can remember about myself...

It was that an email from my new landscaper sent me a link to this Intuit web page that immediately asked me for my checking account info which made me suspicious at first.
