Received the regular VSE "Vacationlife" email last evening. The first sentence reads: "The new Abound by Marriott Vacations™ exchange program will soon offer you direct access to Marriott Vacation Club® resorts and thousands of unique travel experiences using Club Points. Plus, get ready for more Owner Cruises this spring." The first bullet item basically restates the Abound by Marriott Vacations™ intro and includes a link to this webpage (which probably already has existed for a time, but I did not recall seeing it previously): https://www.vistana.com/vacation-id...tm_campaign=202209-enl-owner&utm_content=text. Nothing really new info-wise on the webpage, although the asterisked footnote on "Club Dues" is interesting because it describes it more clearly in my opinion.

The purpose of this post is to point out what appears to be a glaring typo in the "WHAT STAYS THE SAME?" section which says "You will still have access to Marriott Vacation Club resorts, where you can take advantage of all the benefits you love..." Umm, since this is a Vistana.com page, shouldn't that read "...still have access to Vistana resorts..." (or also mention WVC/SVC). Who is editing this stuff?

Whoops... I suspect a similar email will be fired out to Marriott owners and they just used the same one and changed a few things around to fit the Vistana email. Looks like they missed something.

I received it last. I didn’t think it said much more than we already. During my sales presentation the rep showed me a website that had a bunch of tiles to click on. One perk I thought was interesting was using club dues for airline miles. I am almost 100% positive the conversion would be ridiculously awful but it showed there were many ways you can use club points.

couldn't help but notice "..... Owner benefit level." was used.

I don't think at this point of this email that is meant to be specific about which level vs. the program in general, but I guess we'll still have to wait for this confirmation unless there was something I've missed the past couple weeks.

I think this is just another reminder that there really is no Vistana any more, there is just MVC wearing the Vistana hat when appropriate. So there will be a lot of future emails which have to be modified for Vistana recipients, I doubt this will be the last time somebody misses one of the places that text should be changed.

I never received the email from Vistana about the new program that everyone got like a month ago. I am still concerned I am not on their radar.

Interesting point. They have reorganized the Abound FAQ section on Vistana to be able to be filtered by categories. I reread all the FAQs and they actually use Owner benefit level capitalized that way multitudes of times always in description of or in reference to the overall recognition levels. So I think what was picked up earlier about different capitalized versions was really just poor writing on their part and it looks like it's been made consistent now across the FAQs.
