Upgrading what? Upgrading your annual membership? Upgrading to Platinum or Gold? What kind of account is this on? Do you regularly exchange with that account? These offers are targeted to individual account numbers. So if you have several II accounts, it may not apply to all of them.
 
To Gold or Platinum as my Platinum expired. Guess 50% off is as good as it goes so to share and ask.
 
Yeah, 50% off is about as good as it gets. Often only good for up to two years. I always suggest getting two years, you never know when the offer may come along again.

It’s my personal account. Guess I will just buy two years Platinum for one. Also to mention that I received another renewal promotion by mail for one AC. Already have too many ACs so I don’t care but someone might like both.

You should just see the option available when you go to upgrade the membership. No code.
 
Here are my Platinum renewal options.

I will likely take 50% off for 2 years, which is worth 139. Someone may find Bonus Week Certificate useful.

But I am also intrigued by 50% off a getaway. It doesn't clearly cap how much the savings can be so I imagine it could apply to expensive getaways like some Vidanta resorts to save 1000+. Should I choose that one? Any experience with 50% off certificate on getaways?

Guess no one will take Passport Holder unless it's made of pure gold.

No, don’t choose getaway discount. The last time I had one, the 50% off discount had a max of $200.
 
I've used the getaway discount when it was offered as part of an exchange promotion. It was max $200, which applied to all getaways, see if you can find out if it is for all getaways or just selected. If you use getaways its worth more than the 50% discount on plat upgrade. The accom cert is harder to value, but if you use them a lot that might be worth it and probably worth more than the plat discount, even after you pay the booking fee.

If it’s maxed out at 200, likely not much more value, and I’m not able to see the terms and conditions before I do renew. Has anyone used it, just curious if it’s stacked up with Platinum 50 off to get a total of 250 off. If not, even worse value.
 
How long has it been expired? I seem to recall they backdate the renewal to the expiration date.

It does stack with the Platinum getaway discount.
