Hello everyone. Thanks for taking the time to read this and hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

Over the past year I've been researching getting a timeshare on the resale market.
I'd like to find something here in the states that has a lower yearly maintenance fee with a good points exchange to use in places like Cabo.
The resorts we enjoy down there are on the II network. What I need to know though is how many points those resorts are exchanged at so I can determine what timeshare I should be looking for here.

Does anyone have access to their points exchange list of resorts? I found an older one for RCI but no II.
Thank you so much!

The vast majority of II exchanges are week based. So the number of points in a specific resort system used to exchange will equal the number of points needed to reserve a week in that system. II Points is a small, more expensive, and (IMO) not very useful option. Comparing RCI Points to II Points is apples to oranges.
Interval is an exchange company used by a variety of different timeshare systems for exchange purposes. Each system creates their own currency system that has nothing to do with any other system. One system may require hundreds of points for a red season 1 BR unit while another is in the thousands and a third is in the hundreds of thousands. It doesn't matter. Think in weeks vs points. How many weeks in the season and size you want are you purchasing in each system. You don't have to be limited to points systems. If you buy a week in a lockoff unit, you can split that unit into 2 (or more) weeks for that one week. It all depends on how you will use it.
Buy into a system that has the resorts you want to stay at. Exchanging will always be more costly and more difficult than exchanging within a system. Marriott with its preference system and the way it uses II might be the exception to that.

Here is the link to the II buyers guide that has the II points charts on page 5. You will see that for II is is a simple table of TDI vs unit size, which reads across to all the points currencies that II has. The thing to remember is that TDI vs unit size means it takes the same number of poitns to stay at a Disney Orlando 1-bed as it does an Orlando 1-bed flea pit. As sue1947 says, there are many varieties: https://www.intervalworld.com/iimedia/pdf/iw/buyers-guide.pdf

I have a fondness for Sheraton flex. It can be bought for nothing and tends to trade well in II, here is the link to the Sheraton FAQs, that includes the table of TDI vs unit size: https://tugbbs.com/forums/threads/u...HdV3A9-3Os9d40Fg-bf8NnDiHpDiFXMlvFQ1L9Nh7q7Yc

For reference here is the MVC club points chart, terrible value in my view, other than a very few sweet spots or a good alternative to total loss of points.

I think you posted a picture of the Sheraton Flex/Vistana HomeOptions chart. The MVC Abound Club Points chart is below. As you mentioned, aside from a few sweet spots it's not a great value compared to Sheraton Flex when you factor in MF per point.

Perhaps the OP is referring to Club Interval Gold. This is likely a different point scale than the other two that were posted.
