Interval International Gold & Platinum Benefits - Unit size upgrade discount?

I often trade up from a 1BD to 2BD so wanted to see what that would cost if I took a Gold or Plat membership. I could have sworn that I came across a thread that said one of the II levels gave you a discount when upgrading your unit size.

I have looked at the Interval website and downloaded their brochures for the programs, but can't see that listed as a benefit anywhere. For anyone that has Gold or Plat, do you pay less than the $99 to upgrade your unit?

platinum members pay $59 per upgrade step. (I think gold is $79) I was looking at the benefits list and I don't see it listed. I wonder if that is because they will be discontinuing this benefit. The other possibility is they don't list it because it doesn't apply to points members and they don't want to confuse those owners thinking they could book something with fewer points and then pay the upgrade fee. You would think that would be easy enough to simply designate on the benefits list as a weeks owner benefit vs not listing it at all.

• The cost to upgrade your unit size is $99 per upgrade step. Interval Platinum members will pay a reduced rate of $59 per upgrade step, and Interval Gold members will pay a reduced rate of $79 per upgrade step. The Unit-Size Upgrade fee is in addition to your exchange fee.
  
  There is no upgrade fee for instant exchange confirmations made within the Flexchange window. Additionally, if your request for a Unit-Size Upgrade is confirmed within 59 days of your check-in date, you will not be required to pay the Unit-Size Upgrade fee.

I'm just about to renew my membership and am wondering if someone with Platinum can confirm the size upgrade discount is still in effect? There's still no mention of it under the "membership benefit details" on the II membership chart.

Still in effect. Just searched for Marriott Aruba and saw June availability. I can upgrade to a 2 bedroom for $59.
