Just wondered if anyone had discovered a way to filter in II for Elite or Premier resorts? It would be a handy filter to have if so.
Thanks in advance!

No, you can‘t filter by resort rating.
If you go to the resort directory and click advanced search you can see the parameters you can select to filter.

Doesn't II sort of auto-filter for you, based on the quality of the resort you're trading? I thought I read that somewhere in these parts but I could have made up that memory. :)

Yes, a salesperson recently showed us what appeared to be a custom filter of “Marriott quality“ II resorts (elite & premier?) and when I asked him for it, about it he said our assigned rep could provide it ( I dont believe, we have an assigned rep anymore, even at Presidential level, so much for that, lol). I wondered if any of the Tug folks had somehow garnered that information (ie a spreadsheet) and if it might be posted somewhere, or could be?

You are not alone.
As I recall, we did not have an assigned rep after the first few years of ownership way back in the early 2000’s.
Owner level makes no difference, as we are Chairman’s Club.

Yes,

If you go to the sightings board right now you will see the last 10-12 posting by me. These were made using a silver rated resort. The 10 after that I made using a Marriott. I can not see the lower rated resorts with my Marriott.
With the silver rated resort I can see “up” to some of the nicer resorts but there us definitely a filter in place.

If I wanted to request Old Killarney Village or Adagio Paris with a Marriott I would have to call II and tell them I want then to remove the filter for those resorts.

They have the filter in place so you won’t complain about the resort quality not being equitable

Unlike RCI, II does not provide a way to directly filter for resorts based on resort quality. You also can't filter by unit size but you can filter by kitchen vs no kitchen and by sleeping capacity as part of your initial search parameters. Once you have a list of actual resorts (several ways to get there) you can sort by date, resort name or Location.

sorry I misunderstood what you were asking

The best way to search II would be to create a list of resorts and just have a list of the resort codes to search with. For example I have a list I search with that includes all of the Marriott, Vistana, & Hyatt resorts plus a few other highly rated ones like 4 Seasons, Grand Colorado Ski Resorts, Elara Las Vegas, and a couple of Westgates that interest me (Smoky Mountains, Park City, Cocca Beach)

If you look in the Sightings Forum there is a list there of Marriott, Hyatt & Vistana that you can just copy and paste to search with, but if you want to add others you can custom from there.

Thanks all for the links, stickynotes and suggestions! (I do realize that I was NOT all that clear initially about what I was asking…)

YOu aren't registered on the forums as a TUG Member. Or if you are, it takes a little while to update. Make sure you have followed the instructions in this;
