We have two enrolled Marriott weeks, one with Grande Vista and one with Grand Chateau. I just made a reservation with my 2026 GV week, locked off studio and 1 BR and while I was on the phone with the MVC rep he connected with Interval and had the two units deposited. When I went on my Interval account last evening, I see that they have the two Grande Vista exchanges labeled as Grand Chateau. My GC week is odd so actually don't have usage until 2027. When I search for exchanges, I can see Disney options which I don't think I should be able to see with a Grande Vista exchange. I plan on calling Interval to see if this needs to be corrected but just wonder if anyone else has had this happen?

Hasn't happened to me since I don't rely on Marriott to do what I can do myself. Don't trust them in the future. Get your reservations, get the confirmation numbers and log in to the II website yourself and initiate the deposit. I suspect II will still try to do their normal verification of the deposits and they will likely reject them and you will need to start over anyway. You may not want to initiate any exchanges until it is straightened out.

In the past I have always done it myself. This time the MVC rep asked if I was going to deposit with Interval and I thought it would be easy to take care of while I was on the phone anyway. Lesson learned.

The strategy of booking and depositing myself went a bit wrong when I tried it on 8 June. I had made a reservation using the Occupy tag on 6th June and the went through the process of manual deposit on 8th June online without any issues. On 11 June I was getting nervous that I'd miss the 15 June deadline for getting the Bonus AC for deposit, and emailed II, who replied relatively quickly that is hadn't been verified, so I called MVC and they said they didn't have an verification request so they would deposit it for me. That still seemed a bit sluggish to get sorted so I followed up with II on 13 June and was again told it was waiting verification so I spoke to MVC who again said it was all OK.
The AC didn't show up in my II account until half way through the day on the 15th so it did get sorted, but I don't think its taken that long previously.
Not sure why it took several days longer than usual to process.
