Our Interval account is under my name so all exchanges goes under my name. Our Marriott Bonvoy is under my husband's name. All of our exchanges with Westin and Marriott cannot be credited to bonvoy because it's under my name even if ownership is under both our names. I can't change the name of the II account. What would be the easiest route to accomplish the name change. Thanks

You should be able to add your husband's name to your II account. My husband and I are joint owners with our MVC ownership and he has a separate II login for the same ownership. You need to call Westin/Marriott to ensure that he also gets an II login. In future when you trade, just use his II account to trade.

YOu need to setup a new II web profile for your husband. You will then each have a separate username and password. I did this and we can now make II bookings that show my name or use my wife's name. You only need your II membership number and will want to use a different phone number than is associated with your II account. You can set this up online without having to call MVC or Vistana.

I think (or thought) that the name(s) on the recorded deed and the name(s) on the ii membership needs to be the same. That is how my TS's have been recorded and enrolled in Interval.

But here is where is gets complicated but workable.... I make the reservations in II under my wife's login. (Long story but it was the result of software issues in Interval from a decade ago). So, ii gives me a Confirm with my wife's name first followed by mine. When we check in to the TS, I usually have to give them my wife's name. When we check in (like to a Marriott) I always check to make sure that they have MY Bonvoy number. Sometimes in Marriott.com (for Bonvoy), I'll add an upcoming trip (with my BV #) to my profile but I end up doing a search using my wife's name, OUR ii res number. It seems to work fine. So @heckp, I'd suggest that you do an experiment - - go to Marriott.com (husband's acct) and try to enter your upcoming Marriott res # or your ii res #. When it errors out and cannot find that res, then do another search using YOUR name and res#. Maybe it'll work for you. It does for me....

Another option to getting the primary name changed on an II reservation is to use a guest certificate. This of course works best if you are II platinum and get free GCs. We have done this a few times to get a confirmation in my my name so I could add my Bonvoy number. Having the Bonvoy number that is associated with the primary name on the reservation is probably best if you ever have to fight for a missing stay with Bonvoy. At least that is why we do what we do.

I got it! I created a profile. I still have the already confirmed exchange under my name though. I got the II confirmation changed to his name but the reservation number is still tied to my name with marriott bonvoy when I check the reservation. This is another one to tackle

Thank you all!

It may take a few days to update the Marriott reservation system.

Yes I can search it under hub's account but it won't add the bonvoy and won't add to upcoming trips

Web profile. You will need your already existing ii member number.
We are also, II Platinum members.
Right now everything is in my name at II.
I'm going to try this later this morning.
