I disagree with #2, having been there are few times myself (Ka'anapali Beach Club). #1 is an odd choice (Bonnet Creek). A Wyndham resort with many months where guests are blocked out; however, our son and his family are there now and are enjoying a nice stay. It's an amazing resort with beautiful pools and is constantly updated.

Willow Ridge Lodge being on the list is maybe the most surprising one to me. I find it hard to believe that its more popular the Ocean Pointe, Oceana Palms, All of the Hilton Head Marriott resorts, etc.

Of all of the Branson resorts, I think Willow Ridge is the best. That isn't saying much about the others. Wyndham Branson Meadows is okay, we like the beds, but it's not as nice as WR. The Welk resort is probably very nice in Branson, but I have yet to book dates that work for us. I just love the area, and we plan to stay at the Wyndham Meadows resort often in the future. It's pretty nice, but not Marriott nice. I know a lot of people who love the Spinnaker resort (we haven't been).

I wonder who wrote the article and if @dioxide45 had anything to do with some of the ratings.

I wasn't involved...

This description is incorrect for a few reasons. There is only one pool. The "on-site dining" is partially correct, if you include leaving the resort and walking into the attached shopping mall for the restaurants. The only food service at the Elara is Starbucks. There is definitely not a balcony or terrace with the rooms.

I remember when Koala first started. They had incorrectly described something Disney-related, and I sent them an e-mail. They were very pleasant about making the correction and letting me know it was done. It sounds like someone needs to review their work again.
