We recently purchased a timeshare in Puerta Vallarta, with the understanding that a buyer had been found for our old timeshare by an outfit called Grand Xcapes, only to find out after our return from vacation that no, there was no buyer, and that Grand Xcapes would attempt to sell our timeshare as soon as they received a $599 fee, never mentioned to us in the sales presentation. A little research determined that this company has a listed address in Houston, but telephone contact in Mesa AZ. After asking a few pointed questions of Alxis Anders of this company, and being told that there were 15 employees in the Houston office, when I asked for their phone # in Houston, she said she would try to find it, whereupon she handed the phone to a Max Peters, who informed me that they "didn't give that # out". Calls to a telephone operator and to the Better Business Bureau of Houston revealed no such business at the listed address.
