Would like to thank whoever posted the suggestion to try all2easy.net as an inexpensive dial-up internet service provider. My present back-up provider has been costing $6.95 a month for 12 hours of usage. All2easy.net offers 200 hours a month for $4.95, has nation-wide access numbers, and includes a POP and a web-based email account. Using the site's excellent directions, I was able to set up my Mac laptop for the service without having to call a tech person. I like having dial-up access when traveling in case a resort or hotel doesn't have wireless or ethernet. I've only been signed up for a few days, but so far so good.
