Incentives or offers to attend “Owners Update”

Owners card? I was not aware of such a thing. How does an MGO owner get one?
It has been a while but stop by the guards gate. Tell them you are an owner. They called someone who met us by the gate. They took our information and a day later my wife and I had an ID card that Has Marriott's Grande Ocean on top, our picture and name in the middle and the word owner under our name. We use it to get on property when we don't stay on property. If it is busy they can turn you away but I have never heard of that happening. You park across the street. If you are an owner, you do not need a card to get it. It is just quicker.

They issued 4 $100 cards to me, and I am at Summit Watch. When we went to MGV last year, I also took the Marriott gift card option for $350. :)

I wonder if I get that extra option because we bought everything that we own directly from Marriott.
I'll ask about that option if they invite us during a Florida swing through five resorts this September. I am sure that at least one of the resorts will ask us.

Just returned from HHI last week and this was offered below:
500 Abound points food for 2 years or
$300 to spend at resort and some restaurants on the island

I took the 500 points and sat through a 1.5 hour presentation that learned a few things - but much of it when coming home and back checking were overstated or downright lies. I wasn't there to buy and was upfront and they were respectful, but the ways to use the points and places coming soon just wasn't accurate.
