We were able to reserve two consecutive weeks at a 3BR Imperial Palms for next February/March. We are owners ate MGV and have stayed there many times and love our home resort. Last year we also stayed at Cypress Harbor and just loved it! We are trying to gauge the 3BR availability at IP to have friends visit with us versus availability also for a 2BR at Cypress Harbor. I've read reviews concerning Imperial Palms being run down, not as nice, etc. Have the rooms been renovated recently? Has anyone stayed there and could give me a recent update as most reviews are old? Have until late this afternoon to change our minds.

Imperial palms are nice units we stayed there last year and have booked to go back this year
Small resort but you get access to Marriott world center pools

We stayed at Imperial Palms for a single night in May 2016. The villas were very nice and huge. Much better situation with the 3BRs compared to the 2BR at Cypress Harbour. Depending on the sleeping situation, IP may be much better than IP. IP is only one building and much lower number of units than at Cypress Harbour. Because of this, there is much more availability tat CH and better chances to get what you are looking for.
