II trade into OKW 1BR

In another forum I see that someone traded into an OKW 1BR - the first time I've seen something else besides SSR. It took a week at the Marriott Grand Residence Lake Tahoe to get it. Cheers.

Through Interval International? Some exchanges are still coming through RCI and OKW is a resort people are still confirming through RCI.

Yup, through II. Also, I just checked and the Marriott Grand Residence Lake Tahoe only shows up in II's directory, not RCI.

OKW has been a fairly common exchange on the RCI side. I can't imagine it will be any different in II.

Great resort with the largest rooms in the DVC system.

Must have used an ongoing search?

I suspect it didn't actually require the Lake Tahoe week to make the trade. Just so happens to be that this was the week that the person was offering up with an OGS and it came through.

I am not questioning the authenticity of the exchange, but curious since you say "another forum" what other forum is this? I am only aware of Timeshare Forums and DIS Boards. The last post on TS4MS was a couple weeks ago and I wasn't aware that DIS Boards had people tracking II exchanges for DVC. If they do, I am interested to check it out. Or was it a Facebook group?

I can only tell you that in answer to someone's question about trading into DVC from II, I said that to my knowledge all that had been seen thus far in II was SSR 1BRs. Someone else said that she had just succeeded in using II to trade into an OKW 1BR with her Marriott Grand Residence Lake Tahoe week.
 
You can use Marriott Vacation Club destination points in II to exchange into Saratoga Springs. There are many weeks available using DPs. And it is not expensive to get a 1 BR. For example, 1500 DPs is approx $1050. 3000 DPs is approx $2100. So the range for a week in DPs is $1050 to $2100. That seems like a good price. What does it cost in MFs to stay at SSR using DVC points?
