II Payments Won't Go Through

Has anyone had issues recently trying to confirm getaways, ACs or anything else that requires a payment to II. I've tried multiple browsers today trying to book an AC and it simply won't go through after submitting on the payment page. Just get this with a spinning cirlcle forever. I guess I am going to have to call II to book the AC. I guess II wants to make it hard to take my money.

Edit to add: It seems to be an issue around credit cards in general. I tried deleting all our saved cards and adding one again. It won't let me add a new payment card. I suspect they have something broken with their system that verifies payments. Or it is just me.

Yes, I've consistently had issues ADDING or REMOVING cards with Interval. I don't know why. It's been this way for 3+ years for me. I usually have to call in and have them add/remove on their end for some bizarre reason.

I then did it via the app and it worked!

I ended up calling and the rep said there were three other people before me with the same issue. So it seems to be a website issue. They were able to book the AC on the phone, but it was a painful process with them having to read out all the resort and fee advisements. Then just getting through the voice activated menu system. What a pain.

I never thought to try the app.
 
I'll say that II regularly hangs up when I have to pay for something and I end up having to try 2x sometimes, other times I have to go to a different computer. IDK why - I don't think I ever have these issues outside of the exchange companies (RCI less so but sometimes) - Amazon, Sam's Club, eBay, go down the list of online sellers and they never have these issues.

I did it last night or else I would have called in. Was I was trying to get a week at Westin Lagunar as a getaway to use the coupon code I had gotten earlier this year for a deposit. Thought trying to apply it was the issue.
 
As well as the above being quite normal....

Sometimes if the address on your credit card doesn't exactly match the address in your II account there can be problems.

and...

There were 2 updates this weekend so that could have caused problems and now the website is down, so likely it is a system issue
 
And II right now says it's down for "scheduled maintenance" for me, and hopes to be back by tomorrow morning.
 
I think it's back up. I just logged in to renew my membership.
 
@dioxide45, my iPhone and computer haven't been able to get through the payment page for over a year. My iPad usually works, but sometimes I have to call in. It's EXTREMELY frustrating if I'm trying to book something in the wee hours!
 
For other people reading this, it is common that websites and apps run on different tech stacks. So, if one is down, the other might still work. I've experienced the same with Alaska Airlines where the app worked, but not the website for payment.
 
I called II on Monday to add a resort to my account and it would not accept my usual cc So it was not only on line that there was an issue. I was able to use another CC.
 
Yes! I have experience this problem. I have to used a different website browser to make a payment and I think, I had to delete my history.

II, is aware of this problem. I feel this problem started with II, over a year ago, When II, made a website update.

Why, is it so difficult to add a new cc to II?
