Exchange your week and you’ll receive a Resort Accommodations Certificate for an additional seven- night stay at a select of …

This offer is a mystery deal. They just had a $50 off a getaway. I’m assuming this is part of a series of deals as II has done that in the past.

I can hardly hold back my excitement!

Another certificate that I cannot use as nothing I want comes available.

Yes but is the availability like flexchange or can you book months ahead, some of them have severe restrictions
It doesn't say there is a reservation window limit, so there might not be. Yes the inventory will be very much more limited than regular exchange or getaway availability, just like all Accom Certs are. I suspect its better than the ones that turn up for no reason, but whether it is worth it will always depend on what you want. Some people do stunningly well with Accom certs, others not at all.

We just deposited a FSRC 2 BR lock off unit and got two Accommodation credits (now apparently referred to as "certificates") that were good until June 2026. I have learned to look into them right away.

I booked us a 2 BR Hyatt/Truckee/Northstar and a 2BR Marriott Timber Lodge for mid-October 2025 for <$500 for both for two weeks. We can drive there and Lake Tahoe at that time of the year should be lovely. We have gotten some incredible use of these bonus weeks/AC's/Certificates over the last 26 years. YMMV of course.

It looks like it works on retrades too. We tried that by retrading a week and will see if the bonus week (AC) shows up.

That is a deposit certificate, those are different from the exchange "mystery certificate".

Did it give you the prompt for "mystery certificate". I have learned to always screenshot these things nowadays to show them.

I just booked one and it prompted you to check a box. I am still waiting for it to show up in my certificates to see the T&C.

The ones I get for depositing the FSRC always say just "Certificate". I still have some from last year's deposit. I think some appear at odd times other than associated with deposits, but I am not sure if they are "Mystery".

The really good ones are almost always associated with our deposits. We had some great possibilities for last year, but we weren't able to coordinate in time to use them before they were gone.

Yes, the tag and note about the mystery sale is there, though is there a radio button on the payment screen that you need to select?

Okay, I answered my own question and think I am wrong. When doing a retrade there is no mystery bonus week radio button to select on the payment screen like there is when doing a regular trade.

Some of my ACs are hit or miss, some are restricted to 60d although they are valid for 1 yr I find those to be the worst since they will only incrementally extend the bookable months through expiration. While some others allow me to book through validity of the full expiration.

We get some short booking ones, and the others, from deposit for a year or so. I check them all. The not great ones for us - we don't want to go to Orlando, ever really, or PHX/Palm Desert when it is 112 degrees - are the ones that we see from the short use ones. The really good ones are from the longer use, right after we deposit, ones.

But I check in periodically; sometimes I am surprised, and the price can't be beat.

The last AC for an exchange we received, it didn't have a 60 day restriction. We used it to exchange into Barony Beach Club for January 2026.

After I used my deposit ones, I have two left: one from mid-June to mid-August 2025, and one from mid-June to the end of October 2025, and that last one has nothing in the USA for October at all. That is how it seems to go for us, although once in a while we do luck out with even those.
