II/ Marriott Deposit/ Owners Deposit

Looking to book my 2024 week at Grande Vista and than deposit it to II. What is the difference between Owners Deposit and Marriott Deposit?

Marriott depsoit is where you don't pick a week. You just ask them to depositing something. Don't do that. When depositing, we always pick Owner Deposit. With Owner Deposit you get the reservation number and have to go to II and deposit it yourself. This way you can pick a week yourself and also deposit. Occupy does the same thing as Owner Deposit, I think the only difference between Occupy and Owner Deposit is a different confirmation number gets assigned to make it a little easier on the back end for MVC.

Do Owner Deposit and try to get the highest trading week in your season. We own MGO Silver season. When we were new to timeshare we let Marriott Deposit. They will pick their lowest junk week. In our case, they deposited an early February week, which had almost zero trade power at the time.
