Hi
This is my first day in the forum. Just a bit of advice. I have an II(interval international) Marriott Aruba Ocean club for rental. I have been informed by TUG and Redweek that I can't rent this but II clearly mentioned I can give it to friends and family on paying £25 extra to change. Any ideas how I can rent this, a week in August 2014.
Thanks

Why can't you rent this out? Do you own it or did you acquire it via an exchange? If you own it, you should be able to rent it out. If you acquired it via an exchange, then II forbids renting out exchanges.

If you own it and you want to rent it out, post an ad in the TUG Marketplace. And you would not have to pay II (or anyone else for that matter) any money to let someone else use it.

If you acquired this week through an exchange, then II would charge this fee to let someone else use it. You cannot rent it out.

Thanks Lanny P. I exchanged this resort from II. Does that mean, I cannot rent it out but can give it to a friend or family members free?

That is correct. The purpose of the guest certificate is to give weeks to family and friends. That is what II was referring to when they told you about the £25 fee. You can't actively market II exchanges for rent.
