II Exchanges with Marriott

Here is my question. I was just at the Marriott Grande Vista in Orlando. I have been there twice using exchange weeks through II. While I was there, the sales lady told me they are moving to a points system. Will II members still be able to trade into Marriott locations?

Yes. You will continue to be able to exchange for Marriotts. Many Marriott owners will not join the points program and will continue to deposit and exchange their weeks through II. There is speculation that the Marriott weeks in II may eventually diminish, but the new program is not appealing to many of us, so we may have to die off in large numbers before they seriously lose Marriott weeks.
