I forgot what the rules are for cancelling an II exchange? Is there a latest time in advance of a reservation you can cancel and still have use of your week to exchange in flexchange? I have a Marriott reservation for December 2 and not sure I can go. What is the latest I can cancel and still have my week to use in the future? It was a Marriott to Marriott Destination Club exchange so no fees involved. I do remember cancel less than 14 days you can only exchange up to 30 days in advance.

I believe you need to cancel 7 or more days prior to first occupancy. Within 7 days you lose your week and get nothing You would be better to do a retrade since there is no fee. You are probably inside 14 days now and would be limited to exchanging for something with 30 days of the current date. That is fine though, because as soon as you do so your new exchange is outside the 14 day window and you can now retrade again for something 59 days from the current date. You would now be stuck in the 59 day Flexchange window for any future exchanges.
