Has anyone cancelled an exchange with a Guest Certificate within the 24 hour period? I booked a week for a friend and then she found out it didn't work with her husband's schedule.
I cancelled within 24 hours and the rep said he was refunding both the exchange and the GC fees, but only the exchange fee credit appeared on my credit card. I sent an inquiry via email and they responded that the GC fee is not refundable. In retrospect, it was stupid of me to book the GC online. Should I write it off to stupidity or call and speak to Customer Service?
