II Cabo Baja Point Availability

Has anyone traded Vistana preference in II and received a Baja Point 1 or 2 bdrm unit? (not BP Hotel Room).

Does II specify between Baja Point and Westin Cabo? Or is the best way to ensure BP via SOs?

I haven't exchanged into Baja Point but have seen it show up in II occasionally. It has a separate resort code (BPW) from Westin Los Cabos (WLX/WX2). I've seen more plentiful availability for Baja Point in VSN and Abound.

Great to know. Do they ever deposit 2 bdrms? or are they all hotel and 1 bdrms lockoffs?

I've never seen 2 or 3 BR Baja Point weeks in II. I have seen them in VSN/Abound.

Same resort…but the villas on the Baja side are much nicer.

The Baja Point portion started out as a different resort, the Grand Regina, developed by a different company to different standards. The design of the villas is as 2 and 3 BR lock offs that comprise 1 BR and hotel room units. Baja Point is on the opposite side of Westin Los Cabos proper from the Club Regina, which also shares the driveway from the main road. All of the facilities at Westin Los Cabos and Baja Point are shared but each has its own lobby for check ins, etc.
