Hello , I am a newbie to timeshare community .visited Cancun today and KRysyal resorts in Cancun offered me lifetime ICE reward program membership for 2800 dollars with a one time activation fee of 895 dollars .they are also offering me two cruise certificates for 350 dollars each for 7 night cruise and 1000 credits each year for lifetime .(earlier they tried me selling other deals but I declined) . Would like to know from our expert community members if this is a good deal ..I am just not sure if this is a right deal so thought of checking in.. Please advise ! Thanks in advance

What Kystal is selling you is a membership to a discount program. Google it and you'll see a bunch of terrible reviews. Don't believe what a salesman tells you. It is all lies.

You must have turned them down on their usual sales pitch. This is a last ditch effort to soften you up for another sales team to get another shot at you.

Pass on it. And all other Mexican 'deals'. You can rent there forever with no obligation and no ongoing expense. There are many, many Mexican TSs you can get free- some will pay you to take them. Still not a good deal.

Does it also include an SFX diamond exchange membership?

Thanks for the inputs sicnarf , Jim and tschwa2.

Hi Tscwa2: It does not include dismond exchange membership To sum up they offered me following
1 2800 dollars lifetime ICE membership
2 one time activation fee of 895
3 two cruise certificates for $350 7 days six night ( let me know if these certificates are real or just a scam ?)
4 25 Krystal weeks for friends and family at 25% discount on their lowest price on any Krystsl Mexico properties.

Hi Jim: this is not for staying in Mexico. They were telling me they have access to 150000 resorts through ICE. And I can stay anywhere in world for a max price of 399 a week. Is that a scam pitch or Real ICE membership? Please advise as per their contract 5 day termination period , I have only 1 day left to cancel it. Is it possible to contact ICE directly ? Are they reliable on quality and availability ? Also how difficult is recovering money from Krystal if I ended up cancelling it ...Expert community members Appreciate your inputs .

Cancel. Rescind. They are telling nothing but lies. There are not 150,000 resorts in the world. At the very least, cancel for now, study the offer, and if it turns out to be legit, (it isn't) the deal will still be valid tomorrow, next week/month/year.

They MUST return all funds to you that you have paid when you rescind. That doesn't mean they won't drag it out as long as possible, but the law is on your side.

Good luck.

Jim

^That's their website. I don't know if they will give you much info over the phone.

I'm not familiar with this company. It is normal for places to give those type of cruise certificates with purchases. Are they cruises that you actually want to go on? When I've been offered stuff like that, it isn't for a cruise that I would take.

There are timeshare weeks that you can get for $399/week, even less than that with RCI. Again, it's a matter of would you even want to stay at those places. I can get $299. weeks through RCI, but I've never seen any that I would use. It depends on how you travel.
