I have a timeshare at Plantation resort at Myrtle Beach south Carolina and i would like to give it or if someone want to buy it. Where can i sell it of give it away? it has 3br 3 bath lockout with 2 weeks available

You can give it away right here, but we need a lot more info.:

-What do you mean by: "2 weeks available"?
-What season or week can you reserve?
-Is it paid off?
-How much was the 2014 maintenance fee?
-Will you pay for the transfer fee? (Should be less than $200 per week.)
-Has the 2014 usage been used?
-If it hasn't been used, are there reservations in place for 2014?

I have one week to be used from 2013 but at the own resort. the week of 2014 still available. there are not any restrictions of this floating week
maintenance fee is 652$
depends because on the deal we can have together we can discuss the tranfer fee

Is it paid off?

I am guessing that you deposited the 2013 week with an exchange company, so it is in YOUR exchange company acct., and won't be available to the new owner.

Are you saying you can reserve any week of the year, including all holiday weeks?

Have you made a 2014 reservation?

The maintenance fee is $652 per year for a 3 bedroom? Really?

Does it trade with RCI or II?

I have an outstanding of 2800$ if paid in 1 time will cost 2000$ and you can use anytime .
the exchange is with RCI.

If i pay the full amount I can get the week at the resort self. The one of year 2014 is not banked so the new owner can use it.
Yes IT is realy $652 i can sent you a copy of the price proof.

So you are in arrears on your mortgage payments and your maintenance fee payments? Are you sure they haven't foreclosed?

How much do you owe on the mortgage - total?

More Info.: The OP owns a 3 bdm. lock-off for one week, not 2 weeks. (Per private message.)

Denise I have only Maintenance fee that need to be paid off no mortgage this is deed.

Your numbers don't make sense:

$2,800 divided by $652 = 4.29

That means you haven't paid the maintenance fees in 4 years?

If they is true, I am 99% sure they have already foreclosed on you.

I have contact them yesterday and they give me that both option of payment to get the weeks and if I want i can pass it another person name

How long has it been since you paid the maintenance fee?

So you are in foreclosure - you should have said that upfront.

If you expect to give this away on TUG, you need to post all the facts.

It appears that:

-This is a 3 bdm. lock-out for one week per year.
-The maintenance fee is $652 per year.
-There is no 2014 reservation in place.
-You haven't paid the maintenance fee for 4 years.
-You are in foreclosure.
-You owe $2,800, but they will accept a one-time payment of $2,000.
-You hope that someone will pay off the foreclosure to acquire the deed.

yes or we can also see how we can split this payment

Foreclosure, means that if you don't pay what you owe by a certain date, they are going to take the timeshare back.

Why don't you just let them take it back?

They told me that they will not stop it or take it back they will keep charging me.

They told me that they will not stop it or take it back they will keep charging me.

I guarantee that they will take it back eventually, and after 4 years, you have to be getting very close to that point, but if they think they can get money out of you, they will keep after you.

Since you haven't paid for 4 years, and you are in Curaco, I'm guessing that this has had no impact on you at all because you are in Curaco?

In other words, besides receiving some letters, no one is bothering you, and it hasn't hurt you financially? Correct?

One more question: Why did you stop paying the maintenance fees?

They are still sending me letters with letter of their collection with 35% interest.
i told the lady you need to take it back she told me that is not possible you need to pay lifetime for it or check if someone want to take it over.

I guarantee they will take it back if you tell them you aren't paying another cent, and then ignore them - especially since you are in Curaco.

Letters are just pieces of paper.

How is it actually affecting you in Curaco?

Is it hurting you in anyway?

For instance, has it hurt your credit rating, or prevented you from getting a loan in Curaco?

Okay I was not aware of that. I thought when I go to USA i will get any problem about that or I need to pay it no matter what.

So what do I need to do call the lady back and inform that i will not pay them any cent or just ignore them?

and after how many years will they foreclosure it?

Have you been to the US in the last 4 years?

Did you have a problem entering the US?

How often do you travel to the US?

After 4 years, why did you decide to do something about this NOW?

Here is a guess:

-You haven't been to the US since you stopped paying your maintenance fees.

-It didn't impact you in Curaco, so you have just been ignoring it for 4 years.

-Now, you want to make a trip to the US, but you are afraid that the unpaid debt will prevent you from entering the country.

-Since you have money to travel to the US, that means you could pay the maintenance fee if you wanted to, but you no longer want this timeshare.

Have I got it right?

*In my opinion, if you pay off your debt and clear the title, you will probably be able to give this away on TUG, because a 3 bdm. for only $652 per year, is a good deal. But under the current circumstances: 1) large debt, 2) your location in Curco, and 3) unclear foreclosure status, very few people will be interested, because there are too many things that could go wrong.
